Grandmother found guilty of kidnapping grandson from Port Orange
Arnold DAYTONA BEACH — A Spring Hill woman wasn't in the courtroom this afternoon when she was convicted of kidnapping her grandson from his temporary guardian's home in Port Orange. A jury took almost two hours of deliberating to find Laurine Sue Arnold, 50, guilty as charged of taking the 5-year-old boy from the bedroom of the home where he lived, under the temporary custody of Arnold's sister.
